Unite members and other staff have been passed emails from management requiring them to supply all sorts of personal information for 'security clearance'.
- Capita has no right to insist that this information is to be provided, and employees are well within their rights to to withhold such information.
- Employees have never had to provide this information previously, to require it now is a contractual change that Capita or their management cannot simply impose.
- Unite's advice to members is that they have the right not to provide this information. If this situation changes we will advise them otherwise.
Please pass this onto any other members who may be being bullied into providing this information.
